Garnet Rogers is one of the most gifted singer-songwriters of his generation, and one of the most charismatic and commanding performers on the folk/roots music scene anywhere. A tall (nearly 6.5 feet), physically imposing figure with a smooth, dark baritone that perfectly matches his Celtic-influenced folk and blues music, he has been performing and recording for over four decades.
Born in May 1955, Garnet Rogers first came to prominence as part of the influential folk music act, Garnet and Stan Rogers. After the tragic death of his brother Stan in 1983, Garnet continued as a solo artist — releasing 18 albums, touring extensively across North America, and earning the loyalty of a devoted audience that returns year after year.
Beyond music, Rogers has published three works of fiction: the crime thriller As the Crow Flies, the political thriller 6 Crows Gold, and the memoir Night Drive: Travels with My Brother.
